IFS MasterClass Series, 2021: Working with Chronic Firefighters: Addictions and Eating Disorders

This 4 hour workshop will focus on:

• Practical application of IFS to the treatment of addictions.
• The importance of the energy of the Self and the concept of the 12 steps of higher power.

In this masterclass, participants will learn:

• How to conceptualize addictions, including eating disorders, from the IFS perspective.
• How to apply basic IFS concepts to addictions and eating disorders.
• How to become friends with extreme fire-extinguishers.
• Develop an IFS skill set, including techniques such as un-blending, collaborating and negotiating, and direct access to extreme firefighters.
• Steps to heal the underlying shame, fear, trauma and legacy burdens.
• How to integrate IFS with the 12 steps.
